BALOU DU ROUET x CLINTON x HEARTBREAKER KWPN 528003201606917, 1.70m, bay, 2016 Breeder: Gebr. Bosch, Luttenberg
This large-framed and impressive bay stallion earned his invitation to the KWPN performance test following an outstanding performance at the KWPN Young Horse Championships in Valkenswaard (2020). The powerful Lord of Farming was the clear winner of the semi-finals and finished as the best-performing stallion with a fourth place in the finals.
With a succession of foundation sires such as Balou du Rouet, Clinton, Heartbreaker, Voltaire, and Pilot, he boasts a true dream pedigree. This damline has produced several licensed stallions and international sport horses, including the famous 1.60m Grand Prix horse Garant. This grandson of our Numero Uno managed to win the World Cup in New York with the American rider Beezie Madden and was selected to participate at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The current success horse Incredible (v. Clinton), ridden by Daniel Coyle, also hails from this line; he was bred out of Lord of Farming’s granddam. This highlights the exceptional performance genes anchored in this lineage.
Lord of Farming was registered with the KWPN with scores of 8 or higher across the board, including excellent marks for attitude, rideability, and scope. His potential for Grand Prix level is currently being proven under Hendrik Jan Schuttert, with strong 1.45m rankings in Opglabbeek and Kronenberg (2026).
LORD OF FARMING: SUPER JUMPING QUALITIES WITH VERY GOOD MOVEMENTS!
Donthargos is increasingly making his mark as a breeding stallion. Earlier
this year, his offspring Rabenhaupt B was already crowned VSN champion,
and last week young talents by Donthargos once again stood out.
At both the CSI5* in Doha - Al Shaqab and the CSI3* in Oliva, an offspring
of Van Gogh delivered a strong result. In the 1.55m-level class in Doha,
Ibrahim Hani Bisharat finished fifth with a 0/4 result riding Happyness
(Van Gogh x Clinton, bred by Daniëlle Linders and Marcel van Leeuwen).
