Numero Uno daughter third in Toronto Grand Prix.18 november 2008Toronto – The Numero Uno daughter Take Off, ridden by the Olympic Champion
Eric Lamaze, was placed third in the ‘Big Ben International Challenge’,
last weekend.
Only four combinations, including the just eight-year-old Numero Uno x
Indoctro x Grannus x Argentinus mare Take Off, stayed clear in this exceedingly
difficult Grand Prix. The time of Lamaze and Take Off was good for the
victory, but unfortunately one knockdown placed them third. Michael Whitaker
claimed victory with Wonami van de Aard, ahead the Dutch rider Harrie Smolders
with Exquis Oliver Q. Nick Skelton and Transmission were placed fourth.
The Numero Uno daughter was not only successful in the Grand Prix. She
was already placed fourth in the Welcome Class. The next day Take Off was placed
fifth.
Take off is bred by Mr. J. Coolen from Kelpen (NED)
