At the prestigious CSIO5* show in Rome’s Piazza di Siena, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar secured a Spanish victory in the 1.45m accumulator class with D’Orient Batilly (Numero Uno x Quaprice Bois Margot, bred by Jean-Claude Viollet). Meanwhile, Amanda Slagter was in top form at the CSI2* in Opglabbeek, claiming victory in Thursday’s 1.40m two-phase class aboard Neverland Z, another Numero Uno offspring (ds.Carthago, bred by Yves Vansteenwinkel). At the same show, Christophe Vanderhasselt sped to a second-place finish in the Table A 1.45m class with his homebred Pimpernel Vitseroel (Numero Uno x Cicero Z).
