The national Grand Prix in Wilmington, a 1.40m competition, was claimed
by Richard Rinehart last Saturday. Riding the eleven-year-old KWPN gelding
Vincent (birth name Hurry VDM, Van Gogh x Ircolando, breeder Stal de Mierde),
he was the only one to stay clear in the first round, eliminating the need
for a jump-off.
At the national show in Heiden, Germany, Hendrik Dowe competed with
Donnergirl 19 (Donthargos x Lupicor, bred by Michael Steinbrecher), making
a strong impression.
Emanuele Gaudiano secured an Italian victory last Saturday with Vasco
118, a son of Vivant van de Heffinck. At the CSI5* in Fontainebleau, they
were the undisputed winners of the Table A 1.50m class.
