The national Grand Prix in Wilmington, a 1.40m competition, was claimed
by Richard Rinehart last Saturday. Riding the eleven-year-old KWPN gelding
Vincent (birth name Hurry VDM, Van Gogh x Ircolando, breeder Stal de Mierde),
he was the only one to stay clear in the first round, eliminating the need
for a jump-off.
Christophe Vanderhasselt claimed victory yesterday on the opening day
of the CSI3* in Opglabbeek with his homebred Numero Uno offspring Pimpernel
Vitseroel.
Several offspring of Numero Uno stood out in the ring this past week.
Alessandra Volpi won the CSI1* Drammen Grand Prix (1.40m) aboard Glamour
(Numero Uno x Iroko, bred by J.B. Hammink).
