Brian Cournane won another prize last weekend with 12-year-old Irish-bred
Ustinov mare Penelope Cruz (ds.Peter Pan, breeder Liam McKee). At the CSI5*
in Wellington, Florida, the successful pair was among the double clear
combinations in the 1.55m class. Their time proved good for the fifth prize.
At the national show in Heiden, Germany, Hendrik Dowe competed with
Donnergirl 19 (Donthargos x Lupicor, bred by Michael Steinbrecher), making
a strong impression.
Emanuele Gaudiano secured an Italian victory last Saturday with Vasco
118, a son of Vivant van de Heffinck. At the CSI5* in Fontainebleau, they
were the undisputed winners of the Table A 1.50m class.
