Dear breeders,
We are proud to present to you the new stallion catalogue of De Wiemselbach 2015.
Another year, in which we can proudly reflect and look upon the performances of the
descendants of our stallions. Over the last year Numero Uno again has emphasized
his status being a world class stallion and horse producer. For example his son Van
Gogh, who at the moment is very successful in international showjumping competiti-
ons, and Hamilton, the recent KWPN stallion champion 2015. Over the recent year we
have again joined forces with German top rider Marco Kutscher who in the past has
also successfully competed at international level with our stallions Numero Uno and
Lupicor. This collaboration has resulted in a successful showjumping season with
our stallion Van Gogh. Kutscher and Van Gogh obtained great results at international
shows such as Hickstead, Calgary, Doha, Leipzig, La Coruna and Hong Kong. We
hope to continue these recent successes during the 2015 season.
Van Gogh dominated the 2014 Dutch national young horses championship. With the
champion for 6 years old horses and the vice champion in both the 4 years old as well
as 5 years old competitions, Van Gogh was again able to emphasize his status of a
successful horse producer.
Also Ustinov received recognition for being one of the best breeding stallions around.
Due to the successful performances of his offspring in international showjumping
competitions and mare ability tests, our stallion Ustinov was awarded with the “keur”
certificate at the 2015 KWPN stallion show. Connect is a new stallion of which we have
great expectations for the future. During his ability test in Germany he was the best
jumping stallion and also at the KWPN ability test he stood out in all disciplines. He
combines a modern bloodtype showjumping model with the best Holsteiner genetics
around. A perfect match with the well-known and respected Libero H bloodlines we
already offer through our stallions Numero Uno, Van Gogh and Ustinov.
Even more differentiation in bloodlines we get by offering you Great Blue, the
interestingly bred son of Plot Blue, and Grodino a talented jumping stallion by
Eldorado v/d Zeshoek.
Merited solely to the tireless efforts of top riders Caroline Müller, Marco Kut-
scher and John Whitaker all our stallions continue to improve and advance.
Upgrade, Ustinov, L’Esprit, Chellthago, Van Gogh and Whitaker have been
successful at international shows and will continue to compete at the
international level, jumping Grand Prix in 2015.
Also outside of the Netherlands the success of our stallions has not been
unnoticed. At several stallion approvals in Germany and Belgium, sons of
Numero Uno, Ustinov, Van Gogh, Solitair and Whitaker have been approved
for breeding.
In order to help counteract the effects of the current economic climate,
we will be increasing our competition dates in 2015, in order to enhance
the profile of our stallions on the international stage. This in turn will
create more awareness for their offspring which will increase the market
value for breeders.
By offering you these carefully selected stallions that are bred out of the best
European bloodlines, we hope to welcome you as our customer for this year’s
