Van Gogh
NUMERO UNO x BERNSTEIN x BURGGRAAF
KWPN 02.04840, 1.71 m, bay, 2002
Breeder: MTS. Stultiens, Weert
Van Gogh was the undisputed KWPN perfor-
mance test champion of 2005. During the last 8
years no other KWPN stallion has received as
many points as Van Gogh at his performance test.
This son of
Numero Uno
was not only rewarded
for his great jumping skills but also his fantastic
movement.
The dam line of Van Gogh originates at the mare
Miesje. In addition to Van Gogh’s successful full
sisters, this breeding family produced several
international showjumping and dressage horses.
Some examples are the spectacular jumper
Der
Senaat III
(Abdel Said) and the impressive KWPN
stallion
Charmeur
(Emmelie Scholtens).
Offspring of Van Gogh are known by their very appealing types, good move-
ments, ride ability and excellent jumping skills. Calimera (silver medal-
winner at WC in Lanaken 2013) is one of the many examples of Van Gogh
offspring making their international appearance.
In 2013 Van Gogh obtained very good results in international Grand Prix
competitions such as a 2nd place in the Championat von
Paderborn
(GER),
a 2nd in the GP of Rosendaal (NL) and a 4th in the GP of Zandhoven (B).
Besides that good results were obtained in the GP’s of Ommen (NL), Verden
(GER) and Geesteren (NL).
