Lord of Farming HS available at De Wiemselbach02 december 2020For the coming season, De Wiemselbach in Oud Ootmarsum has a new acquisition
available for breeding. Last week the four-years-old Balou du Rouet offspring
Lord of Farming HS was approved for the Dutch KWPN studbook and he will
strengthen the interesting stallion collection at the Horn family’s company. Last August, Lord of Farming HS (Balou du Rouet x Clinton) jumped into
the spotlight under the name Ladykiller during the Dutch championships
for four-year-olds. Ridden by Zoï Snels, the impressive stallion owned
by Jan Schuttert, received the highest marks in the semifinals and finished
fourth as the best stallion in the final. Jumping and riding ability The promising stallion was bred by Gebroeders Bosch from Luttenberg
and earned an invitation to participate in the stallion performance test
of the KWPN studbook. “Lord of Farming HS already showed his great qualities
during the championship and made an impression in the performance test
last month. Besides a lot of jumping talent, he also has very good conformation,
a good way of moving and he originates from a proven damline, from which
several international showjumpers have already been bred”, says Daan Horn,
who is pleased to offer Lord of Farming HS to the breeders next year. Good company In the performance test Lord of Farming HS not only scored well as a
showjumper but he also received high marks for his excellent attitude and
rideability. In total he scored 81.5 points. “These qualities are incredibly
valuable for a good breeding stallion. Lord of Farming HS is very eager
to work, shows a lot of talent and jumps with a lot of scope. This means
that expectations are high for both sport and breeding”, concludes Daan
Horn. Jan Schuttert’s stallion will become part of an interesting string
of promising young stallions at De Wiemselbach, such as Kensington (s.Cornet
Obolensky), Can't Touch This (s.Casall), Innovation (s.Van Gogh) and Donthargos
(s.Don Diarado). Back
