KWPN Horse Days: Van Gogh leaves a good impression06 september 2013During the KWPN Horse Days our stallion Van Gogh left a good impression
due to the excellent performances of his offspring. Both in the jumping-
and in the eventing classes the stallion showed his hereditary qualities.
The Van Gogh-son Davinci (Perrita s. Landeur) and his rider Loes van Gils
landed on the first place in the overall standing and Dalihay (Van Gogh
x Zantana s.Riccione), ridden by Jan Janssen reached an excellent fifth
place. Van Gogh showed his varied hereditary qualities such as attitude,
rideability and good dressage- and jumping hereditary dispositions. Also
in the classes for showjumping horses Van Gogh attracted everybody’s attention
and provided the vice-champion in the class for 6-yr-old horses. Marcel
Willems and his mare Calimera (Van Gogh x Perion breeder: P. Leijser),
who showed a lot of quality, landed after their second place in 2012 again
on the second place. It is remarkable that the horses which landed on the
1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the championships are bred by De Wiemselbach
stallions: Lupicor (ds. Grandeur), Van Gogh (ds. Perion) and Numero Uno
(ds. Emilion).
