Back Gammon wins 4 year old championship at CSI Twente12 july 2010Approved KWPN stallion Back Gammon was
the big winner of the 4 year old championship yesterday at the international
show , CSI Geesteren. More than 100 horses competed in the qualifier yesterday
morning to earn a place in the final that afternoon. The judges Mr. Erik
Naberink and Mr. Johan Hamminga gave the horses points for jumping ability
and the way they were ridden in between the fences. Back Gammon and his
rider Caroline Muller managed to get the amazing score of 36 points, this
means they got four times 9! This put them in the lead before the final,
leaving a 3 point gap on number two. The final was held in the very impressive
main arena, but Back Gammon was very cool and again jumped a superb clear
showing off his qualities to the judges and the public. The jury praised
Back Gammon and his rider Caroline Muller, saying that this is how a four
year old should jump and be ridden, it was a perfect round! We would like
to congratulate the breeder of Back Gammon, the Meulenberg Family as well
as co owner Jan Greve with this great success. Back
