Van Gogh 3rd at the Zuidbroek KNHS/KWPN Mitsubishi Stallion Competition01 december 2006
Friday evening 29th December, the 3rd KNHS/KWPN Mitsubischi stallion competition
took place at the show in Zuidbroek.
The 4 year old son of Numero Uno, Van Gogh,
finished third in the Cat. A (1m15). In both rounds Van Gogh showed his comfortableness
jumping ability. The judges Eric Naberink and Freek van der Laan gave the stallion
a total score of 50 points. The judges praised the stallion with his strong, balanced,
explosive gallop. Vincenzo (Numero Uno x Ekstein x Legaat)
was placed 6th with a total score of 47 points. Even as the stallion competition
in Weert, the offspring s of Numero Uno (Libero H x Lord Calando
x Ahorn HANN) again ranked high; 4 sons of Numero Uno ranked by the first 6!
After a fast jump off, Ustinov (Libero H x Nimmerdor x Marco
Polo) placed 6th in the Cat. B (1m25). He jumped double clear. Upgrade
(Heartbreaker x Pilot x Frühling) jumped a clear first round but he had bad
luck in the jump off with one knock down. The stallion Ultime Espoir
(Chellano Z x Laeken x Fort de la Cour) jumped, till now, all competitions double
clear. Unfortunately one rail down in the first round obstructed him from the jump
off in Zuidbroek.
The next and last competition before the finals in Den Bosch, will take place in
Goes on Wednesday evening the 10th of January.
